Teenager suffers knife wound to head in Barry fight

A BARRY teenager was taken to the University Hospital of Wales after being knifed in the head during a fight in Cadoxton on Friday (August 24).

The fight, between youths, took place outside the former Admiral pub, on Little Moors Hill near Cadoxton train station, at around 10pm. The 17-year-old's injuries were not serious.

A 17-year-old male from Cardiff was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm. He will appear before Cardiff and Vale Magistrates in September.
