Nesting seagulls take control at Barry Magistrates' Court

MAGISTRATES in Barry have come under attack from a "squadron" of nesting seagulls, anxious to protect their young.

The birds, patrolling the court rooftop, recently scored a direct hit on one magistrate entering the court building via the staff car park.

Senior magistrate, Mary Mossford said: "We had to be escorted into the building under umbrellas."
