A WREATH laying ceremony took place at the Barry Cenotaph on Sunday, June 28, to celebrate Forces and Veterans Day.

Pictured are members of the Barry Branch of the Legion and other services, Jane Hutt AM, Cllr Brooks representing MP John Smith who was too ill to attend, and Councillors Egan and Stenstrom representing Barry Town Council.

Owing to previous commitments the Mayor of Barry Cllr Howard Hamilton, and the Mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan Cllr Emlyn Williams were unable to attend.
