BEAST OF THE BUNCH: Quiz organisers and BEAST learners Rachael Thomas and James Clements flank the winning team, the ‘Art Crew’.
A TEAM of Art & Design learners beat competition from across Barry College in a special quiz organised by the Barry Enterprise Activity Students Team (BEAST).
The ‘Art Crew’ won the cross-departmental quiz held in the college refectory last week. Teams from departments such as Sport & Fitness, Caring and a staff team all took part in the quiz, answering questions on rounds in music, the movies, entertainment and television.
In a twist on the traditional quiz format, each team was handed a special quizdom console to record their answers to the multiple choice questions.
The winning teach each received vouchers for spending in local shops, which had been raised by the BEAST student organisers, James Clements and Rachael Thomas.
