ON a blustery Thursday on 10th May, lady members of Brynhill Golf Club, were joined by visiting lady golfers from many local clubs to play a 10 hole competition in aid of this year’s Ladies Captain’s Charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.
The annual coffee morning was again a huge success, raising over £950 for the charity. There was a raffle and numerous stalls, including homemade cakes, bric-a-brac, bottles and ladies golf clothes.
Coffee, tea and biscuits were served and many ladies enjoyed lunch, provided by our excellent in-house catering team.
Ladies captain Sam Pascoe, thanked everyone for attending and hoped our visitors enjoyed our course.
She thanked all who donated goods and their time which made the morning so successful. The winners were then announced and presented with their prize.
Away club winner, Sian Davies from Glamorganshire Golf Club with 29 points, runner-up, Chris Shewring from Newport Golf Club with 19 points
Home club winner, Ruth O’Carroll (who was away club winner last year) with 25 points runner-up, Sue Holland with 19 points
