THE following cases have been heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Cardiff.

Neil Haggard, aged 36, of Herbert Street, Barry, pleaded guilty to three counts of breaching the terms of a restraining order and possession of a class A drug, namely cocaine. He was fined £600 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £50 victim surcharge.

Wayne Hyrons, aged 30, of Holton Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Daniel Thomas, aged 28, of Hilary Rise, Barry, pleaded guilty to fishing without a licence. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £100 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Paul Wells, aged 33, of Sherbourne Close, Barry, was found guilty of criminal damage and pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police custody. He was fined £150 and was ordered to pay £500 compensation and £620 court costs.

Leon Clifford, aged 20, of no fixed address, admitted to breaching a supervision requirement by failing to attend appointments. He was fined £50.

Anthony Kocus, aged 31, of Maes yr Ysgol, Barry, pleaded guilty to causing harassment or distress. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Jordan Davies, aged 20, of Evelyn Street, Barry, admitted to breaching a community order. He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.

Abbey Miller, aged 33, of Hywel Crescent, Barry, admitted to breaching a community order. She was fined £40.

Jordan Chichester, aged 20, of Clos Llawhaden, Barry, pleaded guilty to assault by beating and to entering a property by use of violence. He was ordered to carry out 180 hours unpaid work, as well as being ordered to pay £620 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Christian Romeh, aged 42, of Holton Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage and failing to surrender to police custody. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and was fined £120, as well as being ordered to pay £200 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.

Andrew Brown, aged 54, of The Crescent, Barry, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. His driving licence was endorsed with five points and he was fined £250, as well as being ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

James Rowe, aged 34, of Bassett Street, Barry, pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal damage. He was given a restraining order and ordered to pay £306 compensation, £85 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
