A LOCAL television company is in the process of making a new film investigating the murders of Robert Mochrie, the Barry man who killed his family before committing suicide 17 years ago.
Monster Films will begin filming the documentary early next year, examining why Mochrie brutally murdered his wife, Catherine, and their four children James, 18, Sian, 16, Luke, 14 and Bethan, 10, at their home in Highlight Park estate in July 2000.
They are looking to speak with colleagues, friends and neighbours of the family to gain further insight into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event, and to find out what would drive a person labelled a good man and a loving father to murder his family.
Those happy to speak with the filmmakers are asked to get in touch by contacting maggie@monsterfilms.net or by calling 07734919648. All contact will be treated with confidentiality and sensitivity.
‘Murder by the Sea’ is due to start filming in the spring of 2018.
