GLAMORGAN Artistic Roller Dance Skating Club have hosted their annual sponsored skate event, celebrating the occasion with a Hallowe'en theme.
Skaters – dressed as the likes of Medusa and Little Red Riding Hood – took part in non-stop skating for an hour to help raise money for the club's upkeep, while there were also prizes for the best costumes.
The club, which is a registered charity providing roller dance lessons for children and adults in the Vale of Glamorgan, would like to thank everyone who came along to skate and those who agreed to sponsor them.
The club skate every Tuesday evening at Colcot Leisure Centre in Barry between 6-7pm, and in Penarth Leisure Centre on Sunday afternoons between 3-4pm. Coaches are fully qualified and all volunteers are CRB checked. For more information, visit the club's Facebook page at Glamorgan Artistic Roller Dance Skating Club.
