PUPILS and staff at a Penarth primary school recently held an event to promote healthy living.
Fairfield Primary School hosted the Healthy Heroes event recently focusing on all aspects of a child's health.
The pupils invited members of the community to come in with information, help and advice for parents and pupils.
The event took place on Friday, October 13 and the school hall was buzzing with parents and members of the community keen to find out about and get advice on healthy eating, nutritious packed lunches, mindfulness, good sleeping patterns, reflexology, safety at sea from the RNLI and health and fitness with members of Cardiff City FC.
The afternoon was hosted by guest speaker Jon Bockleman Evans and Assembly Minister for Health Vaughan Gething was there to share in the pupils performances and health messages.
A spokeswoman for Fairfield Primary School said: "We would like to pass on their thanks to all pupils, parents and members of the community who helped make the event such a wonderful success."
