Yellow warning of high winds and flooding for the Vale of Glamorgan
THE Vale and other areas of South Wales has been given warning of high winds and potential for flooding at the weekend.
The yellow warning for Saturday comes as a spell of strong southwesterly winds is expected.
The Met Office says that some coastal routes and communities are likely to be affected by large waves, with potential for flooding of properties.
Some transport disruption is likely, and short term loss of power and other services is also possible.
