TV PRESENTER Llinos Lee is set to become the new face of S4C's long running motoring series, Ralïo+.

Barry born and raised, Ms Lee has previously been a familiar face on S4C's live nightly magazine show, Heno, as well as featuring on a variety of sports programmes.

She is now turning her hand to the Welsh language channel's flagship motorsports show, after spending her summer covering the world famous endurance cycling event, The Tour de France.

As well as bringing regular highlights from the World Rally Championship, Ms Lee and the Ralïo+ team will be focusing on drivers and races from across Wales and the UK.

The show has recently returned to a weekly slot, at 6.30pm every Monday evening, with Ms Lee presenting items alongside fellow presenters Emyr Penlan, Hana Medi and former co-driver Howard Davies.

"Going out to watch rallies all over Wales has been an eye-opening experience," said Ms Lee.

"It is a fantastic community and what’s great is all the rally teams and drivers, their families and the people who run the burger vans and other stalls, all know each other well and are so welcoming."

"I’m really looking forward to Wales Rally GB. I’ve never been before so I’m not sure what to expect but I know it’s going to be hectic. People from all over the world will be watching us on social media and Facebook Live to catch up with the rally, so it’s going to be very exciting."

Ralïo+ will be broadcasting a daily highlights programme of Wales Rally GB next month, between October 26 and October 30.
