THE following cases have been heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court, sitting in Cardiff.

Daniel Griffiths, aged 28, of Cliffwood View, Barry, admitted to breaching the terms of his supervision requirement upon leaving prison, specifically failing to be of 'good behaviour' and by committing a further offence. He was sentenced to 14 days in prison.

Callum Tyrrell, aged 20, of Pendine Close, Barry, admitted to breaching the terms of his suspended sentence, specifically by failing to comply with a community requirement. He was ordered to carry out a further 10 hours of unpaid work and pay court costs of £60, however it was deemed unjust to enforce his suspended sentence due to the circumstances.

Jack Saunders, aged 19, of Evelyn Street, Barry Island, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a vehicle, as well as admitting to breaching a prior conditional discharge order for committing a further offence. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay court costs of £300, as well as a £20 victim surcharge.

Scott Ingle, aged 28, of White Farm, Barry, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. He was fined £75 and ordered to pay court costs of £85, as well as a victim surcharge of £85.

Iulian Perju, aged 29, of Vere Street, Barry, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a door. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and was ordered to pay £40 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Gareth Sims, aged 35, of Park Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a door. He was given a community order and fined £80, as well as being ordered to pay £85 in court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Deborah Chaplin, aged 32, of Burns Crescent, Barry, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and was ordered to pay £85 in court costs, as well as a £20 victim surcharge.

Lewis Lovell, aged 20, of Northwalks, Barry, pleaded guilty to acting in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, as well as breaching the terms of a previous conditional discharge order by committing a further offence. He was given a community order and was fined £120, as well as being ordered to pay £85 in court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Blaize Bancroft, aged 32, of Salisbury Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer in executing their duty. He was fined £293 and ordered to pay £50 in compensation, as well as £85 in court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
