VALE AM Jane Hutt has welcomed members of the Barry and District Royal British Legion to the Senedd to see the Weeping Willow poppy sculpture, as well as providing them with a guided tour of the building.
The British Legion members made the visit on Monday, September 11, to see the sculpture – a cascade of several thousand handmade ceramic poppies.
Jane Hutt AM said: "As a member of the Royal British Legion Barry branch, I was very pleased to welcome other members to the Senedd in Cardiff Bay to see up close this remarkable and poignant sculpture that the National Assembly is hosting.
"Alongside the Weeping Window there is also a reflection space and an exhibition on Women, War and Peace."
The Weeping Willow is set to be on display until September 24.
