THOUSANDS of people descended on Barry Island over the weekend for the annual Isle of Fire event.
The event, which began in 2013, returned for its two-day stint which saw jugglers, musicians, and acrobats interact with fire-fuelled displays.
The event is organised by the Vale of Glamorgan Council in partnership with Walk the Plank.
Barry Island trader, Marco Zeraschi said: “The Isle of Fire is one of Barry Island’s most popular events. There must have been between 6,000 and 7000 people. It’s a family event and one supported by the traders.”
