VOLUNTEERS are required for the Barry Summer Fayre, taking place on August 12 from 11am to 4pm on High Street.
The fayre will be fun for residents and visitors alike, with workshops, traditional games, competitions, cream teas, floral displays, a dog show and live musical entertainment.
Vale MP Alun Cairns said: "The retailers in Barry’s Shopping Quarter do such a fantastic job in bringing life to the High Street and I have every confidence that their Summer Fayre will be a roaring success.
"Credit must be given to the organisers and the volunteers without whom the fayre would not be going ahead.
"If anyone can spare a couple of hours of their time to help on the day, please do give your support to our fantastic, independent retailers."
