Whitmore Bay Surf Life Saving Club's 'Nippers'
WHITMORE Bay's Surf Life Saving Club 'nippers group' have become the latest recipient of a donation from the Barry Hookers' Crochet and Craft group.
The Hookers had raised funds from calendar sales, which they had decided to donate to the Surf Life Saving Club's youngest members.
The Hookers recently presented a cheque to the group, before their weekly training session took place at Whitmore Bay. The donation will be used to help out with the cost of new kit for members, who meet each Friday at 6pm near the Western Shelter.
Barry Hookers craft group meet each Wednesday between 10am and 12pm at Coffee Cove, Barry Island, with all welcome to join.
