THE annual Beats, Eats and Treats festival is returning this weekend and is once again sure to be crammed full of food stalls, music and cooking demonstrations to wow Barry Islanders.
Event organisers have promised an event bigger and better than last year, with a wider range of stalls and a new layout in the award-winning promenade gardens, across Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25.
Beats, Eats and Treats attracted more than 5,000 visitors to Barry last year and this time round will feature a range of street food stalls, a farmers’ market, and host of entertainment to keep the whole family happy. Cooking demonstrations by award-winning local chefs from restaurants such as Hang Fire Southern Kitchen and Bar44 will also be taking place over the weekend.
The festival will also feature stalls from Barry’s twin towns: French town Fécamp, Mouscron of Belgium and Rheinfelden, Germany.
