IS IT any surprise to see the Labour Party trailing so far behind in the opinion polls when it seems the party has gone backwards to the 80s when Michael Foot was leader?
Corbyn is not the only problem – the party is also deeply split, including a large number of his own MPs who do not support their leader.
They are in reality facing a crushing electoral defeat in forthcoming elections as they no longer appeal to the middle ground.
In fact, I would go as far to say that Labour is no longer representative of the majority and there is a severe mismatch in beliefs between its supporters and the voters.
All I can see now is a landslide victory for the Tories on June 8.
