The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:

Adam Michael Beer, aged 27, of Langlands Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to one count of damaging walls, curtains and flooring, one count of failing to provide a specimen for testing having been suspected of having driven a vehicle, one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, one count of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance, and causing an accident while driving in which damage was caused. He was sent to prison for a total of eight weeks and banned from driving for 36 months and 28 days. He was ordered to pay £300 compensation.

Jason Albert Harry, aged 25, of Crib y Sainel, Rhoose, pleaded guilty to one count of attending the address of a person and engaging in contact with them which he was prohibited from doing so by a restraining order and one count of failing to surrender to custody. A community order was made requiring 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

Carter Wiseman, aged 25, of Holmes Street, Barry, pleaded guilty to stalking whilst under a suspended sentence. He was sent to prison for three months. A restraining order was made and he was ordered to pay a £115 surcharge.

Carlton Nestamarley Ingham, aged 22, of Dunlin Court, Barry, pleaded guilty to assault. He was sentenced to three months imprisonment suspended for two years. He was ordered to undertake 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and a restraining order was made. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation, £620 costs and a £115 surcharge.
