AT ALL Saints' Church Hall, Park Road, Barry, a series of Autumn Lunches were held on Thursdays throughout November.
A magnificent sum of £850 was raised by the event which has been added to the church roof restoration fund.
The soup ladies would like to thank all of those who came and supported the event, donated desserts and raffle prizes.
In addition a sum of around £260 was raised for the roof fund from the sale of apples, pies and crumbles, cakes and chutney all of which were made by the soup ladies with apples from the trees in the rectory garden.
A big thank you once again to all those who supported the event.
