A TEN-YEAR-OLD ADHD and autism sufferer who has carried out 200 acts of kindness now needs some goodwill returned after his cat went missing.

Bailey Sloan, who received a Young Citizen Award from the Rotary International in recognition of his positive community work, last saw Mog earlier this month.

His mum, Lisa Harrhy, says Mog, who has proved sensitive to Bailey’s needs, may be locked in a shed as constant searches have proved unsuccessful.

She and Bailey are appealing for help to reunite them.

Ms Harrhy, of Hill Street, said: “Neighbours saw her on November 3 because she likes lying around, but she has never gone away like this before. She likes hanging out at the allotment and there’s a few sheds there that are locked up that we can’t see. It would help if people could go down to the sheds and see.”

She added: “We've been putting flyers everywhere and love her so much. We have lovely stories about how kind Mog's been with Bailey such as her staying with him all night when he was upset over a bad dream.

“He understands that she may be shut in somewhere or chased a mouse and lost her way. He made the flyers asking people to check their gardens and sheds."

Bailey said: "She’s a beautiful, adorable, big cute bundle of fluffy black and white fur. When I was sad she ran up to me and stayed with me all night.”

The 100 kindness challenge began when Ms Harrhy began teaching Bailey about empathy and came up with the idea of helping others through good deeds.

Bailey’s kind deeds have also included leaving a Twix chocolate bar for their postman to collect, and helping Barry Island’s cleansing team clear litter from Whitmore Bay beach.
