RESIDENTS in the Vale can get free advice on Tuesday, October 4 about the Telev Project and Cardiff and Vale Dental.

Telev Project Vale of Glamorgan aims to improve quality of life by helping vulnerable people manage the risks of living on their own with a simple easy to use device.

An adviser from Telev Vale of Glamorgan will be available to chat to and also demonstrate the easy to use device.

Cardiff and Vale Dental are taking part in the National Smile Month campaign and will hold a session aimed at older residents who can have particular problems with oral health care due to medication, poor eyesight, disability of arms and hands, etc.

A health care professional will be able to chat to whether it's for you or a carer looking after someone and needs some general advice.

Both sessions will run from 10am to noon at the Age Connects Senior Health Shop, 38 Holton Road, Barry.
