TRIBUTES have been paid to a young Barry mum who died after a car crash this week.

Jenna Miller, 30, died as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash on Tuesday, September 27.

Her family paid tribute to her saying: "Jenna was a wonderful and much loved wife, mum, daughter and grandaughter.

"We can not believe we have lost such a beautiful, kind and caring person.

"Everybody who knew her is numb.

"Jenna was mum to two wonderfully polite boys aged six and 10.

"They were her world.

"We will never forget Jenna's infectious and wicked sense of humour.

"The best way to describe her was happy go lucky."

Firefighters used cutting equipment to free her when she was trapped after the two-car crash on Cardiff Road at 9.25pm.

A Black Audi A5 was travelling along Cardiff Road from Barry towards Sully when it collided with a Blue Mazda 6 which was pulling out of the Texaco service station.

Ms Miller was taken to hospital but later died.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the crash, or who may have witnessed the manner in which any of the vehicles were being driven prior to the collision, to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1600373384.
