CADOXTON WI welcomed Jennie and Rose Anna from Breast Test Wales who gave an informative talk to members about the ongoing research into Breast Cancer, with facts and figures that surprised members.
The annual indoor bowls was won for the second year by their team. Well done girls, a lovely crystal bowl to admire.
Member Gay Fifield has been given the first ever town mayor award for her outstanding contribution to the people and town of Barry for her work with the senior group Friends and Neighbours. Very well deserved Gay.
The winners of this month's raffle were Linda Prince and Andrea Keegan.
Their next meeting at Victoria Park Community Centre will be June 20 at 7pm.
