The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' court, sitting at Cardiff.

Philip Edward Tamlin, aged 40, of Dunlin Court, Barry pleaded guilty to destroying a glass cabinet of a value unknown belonging to the local authority, at the Vale of Glamorgan Civic Offices on Holton Road. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Christopher William Marchant, aged 36, of Morningside Walk, Barry pleaded guilty to breaching the terms of an order made under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. He was given a 12 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to carry out 60 hours unpaid work. he was also issued with a restraining order and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge.
