PEOPLE are being urged to take care when out and about while Storm Imogen rages throughout the region.


Paul Hillier sent us the video above of Barry Island taking a battering by the severe weather, while Breaksea Drive has been closed to vehicles following reports of tiles being ripped off roofs.


Cardiff Bus 95 will divert via Plymouth Rd, Archer Rd and Clive Rd due to the road’s closure. 


A metal bin was also reportedly lifted - by the force of wind and waves - into the water feature on the Island's eastern promenade side today.


The Barry Island beach huts have also, it is believed, been deluged with water.


Bus services 58 and 59 will divert via South Rd, Sully; not via Swanbridge Road and Cog Road due to a report of fallen tree and Arriva Trains Wales is reporting disruption to services.
