THE victim of a fatal van crash in Barry this weekend has been named as 70-year-old Christopher Harry Barnfield of Abergavenny.
The collision occurred just before 10.30am on Saturday (November 21) when the Mercedes Sprinter van Mr Barnfield was driving crashed into the central reservation and road signs a short distance north of the junction between Merthyr Dyfan Road and Merthyr Dyfan Court.
South Wales police is continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the collision and who have not yet done so, to contact them.
