BARRY Comprehensive School welcomed new students in Year 7 and Year 12 last week.
The Year 7 students looked very smart as they took this important step on their learning journey. Headteacher Gerard McNamara welcomed the boys and outlined the challenges and opportunities ahead of them as they work towards their GCSE examinations in 2020.
The Year 12 students also looked very smart wearing the Barry Sixth Form tie as part of their new uniform. The students were addressed by head of Sixth Form, Rob Bourton, and then took part in an induction day designed to help them think about Sixth Form and beyond.
