THE mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan, councillor Fred Johnson JP, was very pleased to meet artisan Vale baker Melanie Constantinou at the recent Vale Show.
Keen to take a very local and practical gift for his forthcoming visit to the Vale’s Twin Town of Rheinfelden, the mayor immediately placed an order for some of their freshly baked and beautifully packaged Bara Brith.
The mayor said “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Mel and several local food producers at The Vale Show, the quality was exceptional and am delighted to be able to support them wherever possible”.
