A 37-YEAR-OLD man from Barry has been arrested in connection with a murder in North Street, Cardiff.

Detectives in Cardiff investigating the murder of Russell Peachey have arrested the third man in connection with the incident.

He was taken into custody on Sunday night (August 2).

Detective Chief Inspector Jayne Hill said: “We have had a lot of positive responses to our appeal for information.

“I want to thank members of the public and the local community who have assisted the investigation.

“I am still appealing to anyone who was in the area of North Street, Thomas Street and Penarth Road between 3.30am and 4.20am and may have witnessed the incident to contact police if they have not already done so.”
