CCTV monitoring in Barry led to seven arrests made, one court summons issued, and one missing person found last week.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 42 times during the week ending Sunday, June 28.

On Wednesday, June 24 one person was arrested on Broad Street, Barry for domestic assault.

Two arrests were made on Holton Road, Barry on Thursday, June 25. One person was arrested for being outstanding wanted, and another was arrested for possession of drugs.

Also on June 25, one person was arrested on Laleston Close, Barry for being outstanding wanted.

On Friday, June 26 one person was arrested for being drunk and disorderly on Holton Road.

Two further arrests were made on Holton Road on Saturday, June 27 one for theft and one for being outstanding wanted.

One court summons was issued on Pyke Street, Barry on Thursday, June 25.

A missing person was found on Monday, June 22 on Holton Road.

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
