FROM next week the revised Greenlinks on-demand G1 service will offer transport from St Athan to Cowbridge.

As of Tuesday, May 26 the service will run from St Athan to Cowbridge, and Cowbridge to Bridgend Town Centre from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.15pm.

Vale of Glamorgan Council Cabinet Member for Regeneration Lis Burnett welcomed the revised service.

“The introduction by the Council of supported Bus Service 321 in January 2015 between Llantwit Major, Cowbridge and Talbot Green has enabled us to re-evaluate the usage of the Greenlinks G1 service in the Llantwit Major area," she said.

"As a result, the service has been amended on a trial basis and will now provide a direct link between St Athan and Cowbridge.”

The service will also link with the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

Fares will range between £3 and £4 return for adults and £1.50 and £2 return for children. Passengers will also be able to use their Welsh concessionary travel passes on the service.

Pick up and drop off points will be from bus stops or previously agreed locations and pick up times will be agreed the day before travel.

To request a seat on this service call 0800 294 1113 by 12 noon, at least one working day before travelling. For regular users, multiple trips can be requested with one phone call.
