CCTV monitoring in Barry led to two arrests made and one caution last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 36 times during the week ending Sunday, April 19..
On Tuesday, April 14 one person was arrested on Bassett Street in Barry for theft, on Thursday, April 16 one person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry, also for theft and on Sunday, April 19 one person was cautioned for possession of cannabis on Gladstone Road, Barry.
All crimes are alleged at this time.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
