BBC Radio Wales arrived in Barry yesterday (Monday, April 20) to kick off its Election Tour of Wales.
Broadcasting from King's Square, the BBC Radio Wales team spent the day taking the temperature among local constituents and getting a flavour of what's going on in Barry in the lead up to next month's election.
The day began with a panel of the Vale's election candidates answering questions from audience members and later on notable Barry figures such as Barry Town United manager Gavin Chesterfield, GlastonBARRY organiser Ross Mackintosh and The Gallery restaurant owner Barnaby Hibbert were interviewed by Eleri Sion on her afternoon show.
Interviews were also conducted at Caeser's Cafe on Holton Road, with young voters airing their views.
