FRIENDS and Neighbours were invited to the Barry Bowls Club in Gladstone Park where they enjoyed listening to a talk on the history of bowls and how the club in Barry was formed and were also given a practical demonstration in Bowling by club members.
Many of the members of the group enjoyed having a go and said they would be coming back when the club opened officially in April.
The group enjoyed chatting to some of the club members of the bowls club over a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits.
Gay Fifield coordinator of Friends and Neighbours gave a vote of thanks to John Mathias for inviting them to visit the club
