THE six-month one way system trial for Trinity Street, Barry, begins next week.

The road will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, March 31 to finalise signing and lining arrangements, with access to residents only.

From Wednesday, April 1 Trinity Street will become one way south to north from the junction with Porthkerry Road and Montgomery Road to the junction with Jenner Road and one way north to south from the junction with Porthkerry Road and Montgomery Road towards the junction with Broad Street.

During the trial traffic will be closely monitored and users are being invited to feedback regarding the trial scheme.

The decision to permanently implement the scheme will only be made after full consideration of the feedback received.

Feedback on the scheme can be given at any time during the trial period. All comments must be marked Trinity Street and a full name and postal address must be included as anonymous replies will not be considered.
