CCTV monitoring in Barry led to 11 arrests made last week.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 50 times during the week ending Sunday, March 1.

On Tuesday, February 24 one person was arrested on Tennyson Road domestic assault.

On Holton Road one person was arrested wanted on a warrant on Wednesday, February 25, one person was arrested for theft on Thursday, February 26 and one person was arrested wanted on a warrant on Friday, February 27.

Also on February 27 one person was arrested on Salisbury Road for criminal damage, and one person was arrested on Bassett Street for breach of conditions.

On Sunday, March 1 three people were arrested for assault on Broad Street and two people were arrested for possession of a weapon on Holton Road.

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
