A TEAM of material maestros has hooked up with a Vale-based group to give them some financial support.
Barry Hookers' Crochet and Craft group presented the Vale of Glamorgan Parkinson’s support group with £510.
The Hookers, who meet weekly at Coffee Cove, Barry Island, raised the money by staging a Christmas hamper raffle and one of its members taking a dip at the Barry Island New Years Day swim.
The Vale of Glamorgan Parkinson's support group meets at 2pm in the Murchfield Community Centre, Dinas Powis, at 2pm on the first Tuesday of the month.
