AN ANNUAL Barry park Christmas concert has raised £565 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Barry Brass Band raised the sum with a performance in Victoria Park, Cadoxton.
Band member, Rowena Hughes, said: “It was an amazing night.
“The weather was good, singing was fuelled by mulled wine and there was lots of festive cheer.”
She added: “We would like to say a special thanks to Jon Greatrex and his team at Victoria Park, Cadoxton bowlers for the use of their pavilion and the Jolly Baker for donating the rolls to accompany the soup.
“Also the many kind donations of raffle prizes, especially Carol at Roy's Toys and Morrisons Cardiff Bay.
“Many thanks for all your support.”
