A HOUSING association has lodged a planning application to build 21 flats on the former site of one of Barry’s oldest social clubs.
Green Maple Projects and Hafod Housing Association wish to demolish the existing Barry Dock Conservative Club, on Station Street, and construct self contained apartments with on site parking and amenity facilities.
The club, established in 1894, ceased trading on Sunday, September 29, 2013 after a fall in customers.
