YEAR 11 students from Barry Comprehensive School and Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School attended an event at the Millennium Stadium, to help prepare them for higher education.
Pupils attended the Higher Education Roadshow’s Uni Inspirations Day, which was organised as part of an ongoing partnership between Cardiff Metropolitan University and Cardiff University.
The event was designed to help pupils make informed choices about university by giving advice and guidance on higher education courses.
Current students from both universities were on hand to answer questions about courses and pupils could gain relevant information and advice during the event’s subject air.
Pupils got the opportunity to take part in small workshops, to give them a taste of what studying the subjects they are interested in would really be like.
Students got information on degrees courses like art and design, sport, midwifery, law, business, events management and many more.
