MORE than 100 teenage girls and a few mums and sons turned up at a Barry supermarket to meet their boy band heroes on Monday, December 15.
Fans travelled from Newport and beyond to join their Barry counterparts to see 2012 X-Factor favourites Union J sign their new album You Got It All at Barry Morrisons.
The foursomes single You Got it All is currently at number 2 in the UK pop chart.
Band members Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley and George Shelley greeted students from Sully-based Beechwood College in an advance meet and greet and were welcomed to Barry with gifts comprising of chocolate and Welsh cakes.
Newport schoolgirl Bethan Duckett, 15, of St Joseph’s RC High School, said: “It’s a dream come true.”
