IT was out with the iPad, in with the easel as pupils at a Barry primary swapped happy days for the reality of Victorian schooling.
Year 4 pupils at Jenner Park re-discovered books and chalkboards and teachers, by modern day standards, acting in a Victorian scary way.
But the youngsters got into the spirit of the era swapping their usual uniform for Victorian dress and sampling the teaching of the time.
