A BARRY-BASED talent academy will celebrate five years in business when its talented students take to the stage on Saturday, December 6.

The academy, which attracts performers from across South Wales, will see students put on a show at the Memo Arts Centre, Barry, to mark the anniversary at 7pm.

The show is set to provide non-stop entertainment with excerpts from South Pacific, Peter Pan, All Shook Up, Songs for a New World, Oliver, Crazy for You, Charlie and the Chocolate and much more.

Superstars in the Making is well known in South Wales for putting on a good show, with recent smash hit “Hairspray”, in collaboration with Memo Arts Centre, selling out more than 2000 tickets this summer.

There promises to be some very special guests at the show this year and all 130 students are ready to entertain the town.

Academy principal, Christian Bullen said: “We have pulled out all the stops this year to put on an excellent evening of entertainment. The audience will be transported to West End and Broadway musicals right in the heart of South Wales. If you think this is just a kids’ show, don’t be fooled, as the talent we have on stage will impress the whole family.”
