A TOP attending class of Barry school children became the first in the UK to travel in time to test-out the regenerated Doctor Who Experience.
Holton Primary’s class 3E were rewarded with a trip to Cardiff Bay to see the popular attraction after becoming the best in school for highest attending in the last academic year.
The BBC invited head teacher Andrew Gilbert to transport his pupils to the site after the school was used as a location for the current series of the popular sci-fi show.
The pupils assisted the Doctor on a virtual adventure, flew the famous Tardis and met up with a number of creatures from the series.
Mr Gilbert said: “The school works hard to emphasise the importance of good attendance to all its pupils and their parents.”
