SUPPORT: The winner of 'best cake' and local campaigners
THE Breakthrough Great British Bake and craft event at Holy Trinity Church event was well attended, with lots of hand crafted cakes brought in for the event.
The afternoon raised around £550 for Breakthrough and will help to fund the ongoing research of "Stop breast cancer for good” campaign, to raise awareness through the TLC campaign and improvements in available treatments.
Anyone interested in more information, the local group Breastfriends meets at Barry Library on the third Friday of the month from 2pm.
