A BARRY-BASED secondary school’s debating team has achieved meaty success with a veggie issue.
Ysgol Bro Morgannwg’s year 12 pupils Dafydd Foster-Davies and Jordan Stavrakis followed success against Atlantic College, Cowbridge and other schools in the previous round to become the winners of the Vale of Glamorgan, Bridgend and Rhondda Cynon Taff round of the Welsh Schools Debating Competition.
The pair beat St John Baptist School in an unseen debate 'This house believes that schools should actively promote a vegetarian diet'.
They will now compete in the Welsh quarter-final at Coleg Powys on Tuesday, November, 18.
