CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 11 arrests issued last week.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 40 times during the week ending October 19.

On Tuesday, October 14 two males were arrested on Park Crescent, Barry for theft.

On Thursday, October 16 two people, one male and one female, were arrested on Holton Road for being outstanding wanted, and one male was arrested on Main Street for theft and also being outstanding wanted.

On Friday, October 17 one male was arrested on Basset Street for possession of Class B drugs and various driving offences.

There was also one female arrested on Holton Road for theft, and one male arrested on Ffordd y Mileniwm for various traffic offences.

On Sunday, October 19 one male was arrested on Broad Street for a public order offence, one male was arrested on Holton Road for theft, and one female was arrested, also on Holton Road, for breach of conditions and for being wanted on a warrant.

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
