THE SAVING Sully action group is set to hold a fundraising quiz night next weekend.

The action group has been campaigning against housing proposals in the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Draft Local Development Plan (LDP), plans for 350 houses to be built on land south of Cog Road, and the siting of a permanent traveller site at the former recycling site on Hayes Road.

The quiz night will be held at at the Old School Hall in Sully on Friday, September 26, from 7.30pm onwards.

Saving Sully are also holding a public meeting on Thursday, September 25, from 7.30pm at the Jubilee Hall, Sully, where questions can be raised on any developments in relation to the groups campaign.
