ON Wednesday, September 24, the Vale Jazz Fest Committee will meet to discuss getting sponsorship to hold a Jazz Festival at Barry Island in 2015.
Councillor Richard Bertin, coordinator, is urging local businesses to come forward and help by sponsoring the event.
The organisers are hoping to put on twenty bands at ten venues for a weekend in June 2015. Each band costs on average around £400 and so sponsorship is needed to ensure the event proceeds.
The meeting takes place at the Barry Civic Offices at 7pm and all are welcome to attend.
